ReplyDeleteI did all of the applique & embroidery just through felt, the background felt was larger than the intended size as felt has a habbit of stretching. then I adhered the felt ATC to a lightweight piece of card, and quilted it. This is when I cut the ATC to size (21/2"x31/2")and did a couple of rows of stitching around the outside edge, then I taped the lightweight card to cardstock, and repeated the outside edge stitching.. to secure the whole thing together..hope that makes sense. :O)
