I hooked this sweet little owl for my little miss this week,
to keep her company while she reads :)
The pattern comes from the Panda Vintage Crochet book #228
as you can see below the original pattern is for a beautiful necklace,
but I thought it would make an equally cute bookmark.
I've been enjoying this book by Panda
it is the same one I made the
and the yarn is the same also,
I only needed a tiny bit of the left over to make this little owl.
I used Panda Cotton blend 8ply & 3mm hook.
Have a lovely day

ReplyDeletesomething like that should serve me better than the old receipts and post-its i've been using to mark my place in books!

ReplyDeleteHi Gillian,
ReplyDeleteI just came across your blog, and I'm so impressed by your projects! I am a relative beginner to crochet projects (I've only just begun working with patterns). Do you think the Panda Vintage Crochet book would be workable for a beginner?
