just for fun....

I made this cute wrist cuff for Georgia yesterday
using some lovely bulky purple wool &
one of my favourite vintage buttons.
It was super fast to hook as you would imagine
and I love the bumpy pattern.
Pattern can be found

Dont you just love how little girls

can have chippy nail polish and not care one bit :D

Happy Saturday!

  1. Hey Gillian, that cuff is awesome and the collour of the wool is gorgeous. I might just have to make a couple of those for myself and my girls this winter.
I've been learning to make crochet triangles today to make some bunting. I think I'm finally getting the hang of the pattern, not without a few stuff ups along the way though. :) It's a good way to learn, from mistakes. :)
    Enjoy your weekend,

  6. Gillian,
Your cuff is such a pretty color and I love the button detail. I enjoyed looking at all your crochet squares as they really are lovely, I especially like No. 6...Oh, and the bag, wow, I'm impressed you can hook in the car, I'm afraid I get woosy when I attempt it.
    Enjoy your weekend....Karen

The cuffs are great. I love the red buttons!

And chipped nail polish!! I'm a grown up girl and I'm still sometimes guilty of wearing it chipped [blush]
