a trio of inchies....

Still Having fun with my Tyvek Paper from
The Stamping Queen
I used the leftover paper from my 'whisper' ATC a couple of posts earlier Super Tiny Inchies.... I love them :)
I Stitched repeatedly over the 'Tyvek' as you can see in the close up then used some Collections Elements Chipboard pieces inked with Red inkpad, then stitched them in place, then coated with Mod Podge :)
This is a special little set for my Master 9 :)
He Collects Stamps, and just loves mini things
and Yes he loved his little Inchy Set :)

And She dreamed of his return.....

I got a little time to play today :)
with some of my Design Team Pack from
The Stamping Queen
Thought it was a while since I've made a page for my 'dream book'
so here is page 3
you can see the previous pages from ages ago 'here'
Isn't this cool.... I got this watch part (the circle with the numbers around the outside) from the lovely Julie H, she has a fabby etsy shop where you can buy all sorts of vintage mixed media supplies I thought it made a perfect little frame for the 1919 tradmark :)It wasn't till I had finished this piece I realised it's mostly collections elements supplies I've used, TSQ has a most splendid assortment in the shop, a favourite piece for this project was the Bohemian Transparency, it looks so cool over the top of some vintage text I had antiqued.

A BIG CONGRATS TO SUE :)

Now a design team member on TSQ :)

a Whisper and a Shout ;)

I received some 'Tyvek' paper
in my Design Team pack from
Boy is it fun to use!
So I used the 'Tyvek' paper as the background for this ATC.
I screwed it up, then pressed it out flat again, next I rubbed my Distress Ink 'walnut stain' over the paper, which caught on all of the creases. Then I lightly sprayed with water, sprinked a little bit of embossing powder, heated with my heat gun which made it curl up and put a few small holes in the paper.
then I brayered it flat & I cut it to ATC size and started to construct my design.
other bits I used arre, Collections Vintage Wallpaper printed paper, Collections Chipboard branch, Collections word and my sewing machine

and now onto the
Shout

I made my first ever treasury list on etsy today

and it was selected by etsy admin to appear on the Front page!

I selected all Australian Artist because I think they are FABBY

here's the link if you'd like a closer look

http://www.etsy.com/treasury_list_west.php?room_id=23019

it will be in the Treasury for 3 days :)

RAK time......

I decided it must be time again for another
RAK
{random act of kindness/blog giveaway}
now I've always had paperart RAK's in the past
but not today....
today it's a piece of my Jewelry
and typical Gill style
it's gotta be a little old something mixed with a little new something...
so here tis
'the Keeper of Bling'
Fabby bits I've used to make the 'keeper of bling' are - Rusty pitted old key, Brass Double Rollo Chain, Swarovski Crystal, & all Solid Brass Findings

I use Brass in my jewelry because over time it developes a rich patina, adding warmth and charm to the pieces I create.

but if you prefer it to be more golden and sparkly,
all you have to do is give it a little rub over with some gentle brass or jewelry cleaner and it looks like new again :)
If you'd like to see more of my jewelry pieces
here's a link to my shop

Now if you'd like to win my
**** The Keeper of Bling ****

all you have to do is
leave me a comment in in the comments of this post.

Some time soon I'll get one of my children to draw a name out

and that person will be the new owner of

'The Keeper of Bling'

I see you even in my dreams.....

Playing tonight with some of my new things from
I made this little ATC once again for my little dream girl
we've all come down with a nasty cold thingy....
anyway I think she'll be missing out on the Book Week Parade tomorrow
so she will be a little sad :(
so I made her this to cheer her up a little
she is a hopeless romantic, so she will swoon at this little verse :)
**************
Bits I used are ATC Collection Pad, Vintage Image, Kaiser Craft Rub-ons, Collections Chipboard hearts, Catslife Press Stamp (I'll double check that, I'm pretty sure it is), making memories alpha stamps, Versa Ink pads :)

This week and last I was more than honoured to receive blog awards from Three women whom I admire greatly not only for their amazing skill with paper, ink, scissors & glue.....and believe me they are all AMAZING with these tools....

but I also admire these three women for their Wonderfulness,

their Sweetness and their true inner beauty xxx

Thankyou so much girls

my blog means so much to me because of all of my visitors and the friends I have made through it, I wish I could be more active in blogworld, but time just flies at the moment.

anyway, I'm not telling you anything you don't already know...lol!

I know you are all busy too...

Dream my Darling Dream....

I've had some lovely new supplies arrive through my letter box from

My little miss is always on to me about making her more ATC's

we normally swap with each other, but I don't seem to be able to keep up with her ;)

anyway...this one is for her, and she loved it

the little girl in this Paperbag Studio stamp actually looks a lot like my little miss, and she has the same cheeky grin :)

Fabby bits I used are - ATC Collection 'calligraphy' pad, PaperBag Studio PBS098 Little Lu Lu Rubber Stamp, Collections Tiny Scrabble Words, Kaiser Rub ons SB537 Elegance.

after I finished making this ATC I gave it 3 coats of 'mod podge' then 'beeswaxed' it with Beeswax and super fine steel wool, which gives it a lovely 'satin' feel and a wonderful smell :)

Hope you have a lovely 'dreamy' day :)

I made the front page on ETSY

Last week I was so excited one of my jewelry pieces made the front page on ETSY
Can you see it,
At the top in the middle
Treasuries are created by Etsy members, it's kinda like creating your own little 'mini gallery' right there on etsy.
This Lovely 'rust coloured' list was created by Potato Bird
Then several times a day Etsy Admin picks one of the 'Treasuries' and Puts it on the Front Page of Etsy, this is the 2nd time I've had something of mine on the front page, it's such a thrill.

This is the necklace

'The Secret Garden'

It's sold now, but I just wanted to document this on my blog

and ofcourse 'show off' a little :P
