Fezzes are cool......

It’s a fez, I wear fezzes now….fezzes are cool!lol! actually it's not me who is fez mad....

If you are a Whovian, or at the very least watch a little Dr Who

You will understand the Fez Love ;)

Lachlan turned 12 last week

and not only does he collect hats

but he has started watching Dr Who.

so of course I had to make him a Fez!

Here's a youtube video of part of the Fez episode if you missed it ;)

It was a fun surprise for him on the morning of his b'day.

The original pattern was for a toilet roll cover, but the instructions make it easy for you to make your fez what ever size you want it to be :)

Thank you to Denise Plourde for making this fun pattern available!

you can find the pattern

Life is starting to get back to normal now after a few weeks school holidays and Andrew having some time off work also,

it was so lovely to have everyone at home for a lovely relaxed break :)

I concur Ive been feeling really sad for those in the U.S. Especially since most of us in the uk have been celebrating 'Will and Kate's day. I too pray for everyone who has lost loved ones.

The second I saw "Fezzes are cool" I HAD to see what it was My husband is a HUGE Whovian - he's trying to talk me into knitting or crocheting him the LONG scarf. Maybe I'll surprise him with this instead!

Oh that made me laugh! Although now you'll need to be making him a Stetson after last night's episode! I'd better not show my boys or they'll be wanting one too.
I have friends in the Southern US so our prayers are with them too right now.

This is awesome. Miss G. will be wanting me to make her one as she is a huge Dr. Who fan. How did your son like last nights episode? I enjoyed watching it and was very amused to see my nearly 18 year old daughter with her face glued to the screen. :)
Have a lovely week,
Anne xx

Very cool. Bought a smile to my face. My "just turned 9" son has become a follower of Dr Who, which means we are now rediscovering the Dr. Love it.
