Salt - His Presence
SALT
I chose the theme 'His Presence'
you can read all about it HERE
This is my piece for the challenge,
I chose to use Joshua 1:5 for my inspiration
To Me God's Presence is Perfect
Because He is Always with me.
I have used the 'fleur de lis' to represent the Trinity
Father, Son & Spirit
the large number represents the days of the year
and the 24/7 ofcourse that means the hours of the day and the days of the week
Have a lookie at the SALT blog sometime this week or next and see what the other girls have come up with for this challenge,
also we are always encouraged by the beautiful ART that the people who join in make,
their links are in our side bar at the Main Blog
or why not play along with us this time, we'd love it if you did :)

ATC - JTH
and that's why it says 'Calculating Wonder'
I made this card to recognise him coming first in class in his maths exam last week,
oh and he also got a special afternoon tea too, which he thought was pretty good too ;)
I used some cool bits fromThe Stamping Queen - Heidi Swapp Tape (which by the way is really great when you are needing to cover little chipboard pieces & sticking under punched out letters), Collections Chipboard Frame, Arrows & words, Artchix Collage Image, I did use the Catslife Press Numbers stamp too, but you can't see it very well cause I kinda got carried away with all of my embellishments..lol!
the letters I used are Colorbok punched metal letters with some 'stazOn' inked all over them, I also stamped his age onto the retro key using number stamps and StazOn'

bits out of my stash include -Ruths beautiful old shoe clip, old Mother of pearl cufflink, old tin button, jewelry findings, clock hand, two silver coloured key tags (wings), optical lens, cog, arcade token, key, chain, beadcaps (boobies), nuts out of the old clock I pulled apart, screw type brad, and liquid nails glue.

ok...so I'm hooked on Art Dolls now....
The Stamping Queen - they are the German Scrap Wings, Collections Manican body, Collections words, and that Fabulous little 'door knocker' in the centre of the body...
all the other bits are either from my jewelry making stash or from my scrapbooking stash.
These little dolls are great for using up 'odd' little bits.
Can you see the Tiny little locket for a foot, it's only 1cm in diam.
So I think my little miss will be pleased with this little dolly :)

a little bit of Vintage Art :)
I acutally cut my 'Sumerset Studio' Mag....can you believe that????
naughty aren't I, but I cut this face out of the paperwhimsy add
so I've used a whole heap of little bits and pieces, that lovely jewelry finding I've used for the skirt comes from 'brass bouquet' , most of the other bits are just little pieces I've gathered, I love those optical testing lenses I've used for the head, and that clip on the top- it's an old 'braces' clip that came out of my Nans Button jar :), the keys are from a bunch my dad gave me
ok...off to put this in The Stamping Queen Gallery
have a Happy Arty Day :)
