Vitruvian Man

Framed was the theme this week at Wednesday Stamper
and this is what I came up with..
'Vitruvian Man' by da Vinci
Artist Trading Card
I used Design Originals- da Vinci PP, Daisy D PP, Catslife Press Grunge Date Stamp, Stampin Up Aged to Perfection Stamp & It's a Date Stamp,Making Memories word & number Magnetic Stamps, computer generated words, 7 Gypsies Arrow, Versa Color- charcoal & embossing powder, and my sewing machine.

Lovely ATC - I'm researching ATC's to create for Di's ATC sketch's - you can give me some ideas for a theme perhaps - to make a few cards at one go ! lol

Hi kardkrazy,
to be honest, I didn't know either till I researched a little.
this sketch by da Vinci, is based on the writtings of an Ancient Roman Architect named VITRUVIUS.
he was the one who made a Study of Proportions, of the human body.
it's quite long, but this is the a few of the proportions..
a palm is the width of 4 fingers,
a foot is the width of four palms,
the length of the hand is one-tenth of a man's height... and so on.. facinating really...
So now we both know..lol!!!
oh and i'm glad you liked my ATC :o)
