But that's what I did!!
Georgia was keen to pose for a quick photo with her new scarf
and then just as keen to take it off again ;)
But she did say she cannot wait to wear it properly.
Many thanks to Donna Mason-Svara
for designing this cute scarf!
the pattern can be found
here on Ravelry
I added a simple three chain picot edge to the pattern for the scarf above.

I hope you are having a lovely weekend....
the rain has just started
and with that the heat of the day has broken :)

I love it! I finished one of my blankets in the middle of summer - crazy aye! http://www.paisleyjade.com/2010/01/granny-square-blanket-finished.html
Fantastic scarf. Your daughter is lucky to have a mum to make her things. You are hot where you are? Well if you want to be cooler come to Melbourne, the outside temperature where I live is 16C at the moments. We've not had a summer...sniff, sniff. :(
Have a great week,
Anne xx
Ohhh that's gorgeous! You have really embrace crocheting beautifully Gill.
The scarf looks fab - and isn't Georgia growing up!
Very pretty! I love the sunny yellow you chose and the picot edging all really compliment the pattern nicely. Have a wonderful day! :-)
Oh, we'll take it ~ we're going through our coldest days of the year so far over here!! hehe
I love the color you chose, it's indeed a lovely scarf :)
Simply beautiful and I love the buttery yellow!
ohhhhh I love it. You and me both. I finished a scarf and crazy on such a hot weekend, began another. However, it's 5 ply, so this did make it a little cooler than 8ply. I love the little picot edge, just finishes it off nicely.
Lovely scarf Gillian and the picot edging is definately the right choice!
