that evolved as I crocheted the first one.
I love that about crochet......
once you learn a few stitches,
and you have tried a variety of patterns your confidence grows
and you feel more at ease to experiment and play :) I hope you can find some time this week to
Experiment & Play

These washcloths are just beautiful. You have inspired me to maybe give experimenting a go. xo
Very Pretty Gill! I totally agree with what you say about learning stitches and experimenting!
Hi Gillian
I've been meaning to try making washcloths for ages. What yarn have you used? I saw a bamboo cotton mix recently and wondered if that would be suitable (for face/body as opposed to dish washcloths!).
Happy new year,Fiona xx
I love crochet for that - learning just a little bit gives you lots of scope to experiment. These are just too pretty to be washcloths :)
Happy New Year!
I love your blog Gillian you always make me want to crochet.
happy New year .
Thank you all so much for your lovely comments xxx
Fiona, I used a cotton blend for these washcloths, I have used the bamboo/cotton mix for others and it works up super soft and lovely :)
oooh, those are pretty washcloths! things i love about them: the circle shape, the scallops, the picot edge. great job on these.
these are all lovely Gillian! I have used this type in the past (gifts from other crochet friends) and they are the best to have in my kitchen. I hope had a Happy New Year and that 2011 is filled with many blessings!
