Here is another LO I made for my mum's album... of Jacob's 11th b'day last year.
See that clock face, I scanned a real one, and then printed it onto cardstock... I thought it looked really cool... The other thing I did, was I had lots of different coloured chipboard letters, so I just painted them all black to make up Jacob's name.

Smile, Laugh & Giggle

Just made this LO for Andrew's mum for her birthday,
Girly bits I've used are - Fancy Pants PP, Pressed Petal Metal word (giggle), Big Blossom -uknown, Paper Blossoms - Unknown, Urban Lily Chipboard Circle, zig pen, oh yes and you guessed it my sewing machine...
Little tip for you today, instead of matting photo's try stitching like I have here, around the outside edge of your photo's, using the edge of the foot of your machine as a rough guide, stitch randomly and with multiple rows of stitching for a 'funky' look... also I've used the same pp for the journaling just sanded the edges to make them stand out a bit. I Love this LO :o)

Just had my latest copy of For Keeps arrive at my home... and surprise, surprise my all time fav LO is in it.... Issue 52 pg 121... it's always a buzz to see something you make in a mag...
Unfortunately when the photo was taken for the mag the pages are the wrong way around..... so I had a great chuckle... because it read 'Believe in their little girls daddys always'... oh well I think everyone who looks at it will work out it's around the wrong way... Have a happy day!

A Layout to share....

Posted by PicasaThis is a LO I've been working on for quite a while..I take it out and fiddle with it then put it aside.. in the meantime I have made lots of other LO's and cards and other bit's but for some reason this one has Plagued me with thoughts of 'it's just not right'.. finally after a long time, I can say with Satisfaction that 'IT IS FINISHED'... LOL! And better still I am happy with it..
This LO will be going in a frame in our Bedroom, I haven't any other photo's in there and so want this one of the children to adorn our wall..This photo really reflects their personalities so well, it was taken down at one of our local beaches, against a rock cliff.
I'll be back later to edit in a list of supplies.. TTFN Gillian :o)

This is my take on Lu's Sketch..
I really enjoyed using my new 'cherry Arte' calendar stamp on this LO, I've also added some of my Fav letters from Pressed Petals, and some lovely 7 Gypsies Paper..
This is Lachlan at his first piano performance. He only started the piano this year and is loving it.
Anyway check out what everyone else has done with this FAB sketch at Pencil Lines. Maybe you could even have a go..

our back yard in bloom

A layout without people...

it didn't hurt either..

Eleven at Last

Finally the day came when Jacob turned 11.
So happy, Don't you just love it...
My big new thing is to use numbers in words, even if I have the right letter left on the sticker sheet, I'll grab that 8 for a B, or that 3 for an E.
