This week at Daring Cardmakers
it was our Keryn's turn to set the dare,
her theme and ours, and yours is.....
Celestial
that's right anything to do with STARS, SPACE, & the HEAVENS...
The sky's the limit...
Well I decided to stretch the theme a little...
and have chosen to base my card on the 'White STAR Line'
I just love those old ships....
Bits I've used are -Stamp-It printed paper, vintage image from the internet, Vintage Astronomy Chart from Art-e-zine, globe stamp, Artistree Joyride stamps, Stampin Up Print Pattern, Making Memories chipboard star- painted white, Artchix studio strip journaling, Wishmade Die-Cut (Adventure), Versa Inkpad, my sewing machine
So have you Dared to DARE yet?...Come on I DARE YOU!!!

Love your clever spin on the theme! It's a stunning collage card, really beautiful!
oooohhhh Gillian...this is going to be a tough one for me this week, but I will try! Your project is awesome, as usual :)
This reminds me so much of my journey back from Oz when I was 5, and we travelled on the 'Fair Star' (for 5 and a half weeks!). Thank you for the memories.

You are just the queen of collage Gillian. I love the way you manage to pull it together so that you produce a card that traditional with a twist.

This is a very inspirational piece Gillian. I just got three pages of lovely vintage images and was a bit at a loss what to do with them - you have given me some lovely ideas here. Sometimes one has to 'dare' to stamp a background like that!
Oh Gillian.......every time I look at a new piece of your work I think wow that is my most favourite one ever but this piece is just totally AWESOME!!!!! I just love, love, love it.
Just BEAUTIFUL!!!

Another fabulous card Gillian - I think you should stretch and twist a theme any way it takes your fancy if it lets you come up with stuff like this!
Love your chalk-podge card too - I might have to borrow that technique some time!
